Mark “MSD” Frederick aka DJ Marky Mark/MS (Mad Skills) is a music producer, songwriter, rapper, broadcaster, and music executive. Born in Birmingham UK, music has been in his blood from an early age.

Mark began his career as a dancer, then becoming a well-known b-boy, rapper, and DJ. Mark has promoted, produced, and remixed many major artists including;  Eric Benet, Joe, Cypress Hill, Da Brat, Onyx, Brandy, 2Pac, Biggie, Brownstone, Sounds of Blackness, Tipper Irie and Peter Hunnigale. Mark hosted several radio shows playing Hip Hop and R&B and has been signed to several record labels.

As a Record Executive Mark connected the US and UK giving Hip Hop, Reggae and R&B artists their first opportunity at the UK and US market and alternative music mixes for their music.    

With his creative fingers in many pies, Mark “MSD” Frederick has earned his place as a distinctive broadcast personality. Mark’s hard work, dedication, business savvy, love of music and community involvement are just a few reasons for his longevity.

Currently the host of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Show on Da PowerHouse Radio in Atlanta, Mark connects with loyal fans from the US East and West Coasts, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Australia, and the Caribbean every Saturday from 9 am – 12 pm.
