Early on, reggae icon Sister Carol recognized her talent and offered her the first opportunity to perform, setting Lady D on a path defining her as an artist and personality.

Her journey continued in 1990 when she relocated to Georgia, bringing her unique rub-a-dub, old-school style that resonated with local DJs and audiences alike.
